Trendy Holiday Packaging Designs

Want to stand out this holiday season? Why not use trendy packaging designs. The cool, trendy packaging that you do can be a great way to connect with customers. In fact, it builds a better, more immersive experience. Here, we’ll go over the best trendy types of packaging designs for you to enjoy, and ones that will really make your experience shine.

Incorporating Timeless colors

While the classic Christmas green and red are great places to start with designing, you can incorporate other dashes of colors in order to make a world of a difference. On the same side, black and gold types of boxes do make them pop. The black is elegant, but the gold is far more luxurious, and attracts the attention of customers.

Even using bolder and brighter colors other than green and red are trendy. Warmer colors including orange, red and pink also evoke happiness. Lilac is also a fun, uplifting color to check out.

Creative and New Patterns

Consider adding creative patterns to the boxes.

Unequal designs and packaging incorporating seasonal patterns are a great way to show to customers that you do care about the packaging during the season.

Get out those Scandinavian Sweaters!

Another way for you to fully embrace this holiday spirit is through the “Scandinavian Sweater” stye that you can put into holiday packaging.

This is a fun, unique style that features pine trees, snowflakes, reindeer, and even ornaments too. A great way to really show that the holiday spirit is the Holi-yay spirit!

Get Rustic

If reindeer and flashy designs don’t tickle the itches you have, then try to go simplistic with kraft boxes that are nice and rustic.

This rough edgy look with a natural brown that’s earthy allows for simple additives such as printed tape and custom ribbons to create a fun, festival pattern. The feature on this does make the boxes pop without needing colorful packaging.

Get monochromatic and Minimalistic

Another unique aspect is the opposite of the bold, and super flashy patterns. Sometimes, going monochromatic is what makes the design really pop. Simple black and white boxes with the log do make a really strong statement.

Try more elegant sorts of fonts, toned types of colors, and a white, natural type of cardboard to make a subtle, more festive sort of mood that’ll stand out from the other types of holiday packaging that’s out there.

Emboss away

Both embossing along with debossing are super trendy for brands that are more upscale. Creating these 3D effects on the surface parts of the package do make the visuals and logos pop out a whole lot more. embossing is a great way to add physical, along with visual depth to packages in a way customers will flock to!

Foil Stamping

Another fun way is foil stamping. This is a unique way for better visual effects. You can make this stand out with the name, a logo, or even some festive symbols to make it a classy flare added to the box.

The Little Extras

Customized ribbons, gift tags, and ornaments are little bells and whistles to add to these boxes. It makes the packaging look like it’s truly special. Customized packaging labels and tapes have that same, added effect that ribbons along with ornaments do, and these festive messages and designs really shine.

Don’t be afraid to get creative with these. Use more than one, and you’ll see the difference in how these stand out.  You will not regret it, especially with the unique characteristics of these many boxes that you can get right now!

Shipping Out Guide for Reallocation

Moving is something that’s stressful, and if you’re going to move a lot, you want to make it as simple as you can for this. A bunch of the work is best handled now, especially before moving day, and you don’t want to do that last-minute stuff. You should try to pack and plan up to four months ahead, but for some people, it may not be possible.

Planning and Checklists

Before you pack this, get some tea, and then draft up a list of what you need to make, and then make sure you keep a copy around where it’s easy to be seen. This includes rentals and arrangements with the new and old landlords, and other people, offices, and services, especially for changes in address, and all the paperwork that’s needed. Finally, you need a list of the items to be packed, and their order, which is basically the plan to make sure everything is finished in time!

The important paperwork

A lot of people don’t realize that even if they inform the changes in their address, old paperwork still gets sent to prior addresses. So make sure to do this ahead of time, and make sure that you give them enough time for file updates. All of your utility and services should be the first ones to be notified, so water, phone, cable and TV, any electricity, and any other private services that you’re using need to be notified. You want to make sure that they know the date that you’re moving, and also any other instructions including your bank, the accountants, the lawyers, and even your kid’s schools know about the address and removal changes.

Save money!

You then want to start saving money. Moving is a ton of money, and if you’re making these reservations at the last minute, or canceling stuff without enough notice, you’re going to get some fees, or they may keep you going. You can make money selling different items that you don’t want to, and this works as another purpose because it also reduces the goods you have to transport and pack, and also, you may even get some deductions for this too, so worth checking out!

Pack it Correctly

You then want to make sure that you know which items are needed and not needed. Knickknacks, winter clothes, books and other media which are old, and so much more are definitely stuff that you need to pack. Get those packed first, and get these out of your hair, especially if you want to make sure that your labeling and packing system makes it easier to find items later on. You don’t want to mix the dishes, toys, and clothes into one box, but instead, pack everything with the right names, and categorize them into the right areas. Create what’s called a master list of the boxes, the contents, and don’t list them out directly, but instead, you should just keep it pretty vague.

Also, don’t try to buy a ton of groceries. If you have items in the fridge, finish this first, and try to have the meat and dairy, along with other perishables initially, so you’re not throwing this out during the time of the move.

Finally, you want to make sure that anything that’s big and bulky, such as excess furniture, garden décor, and big rugs are put in storage places. You can keep these in secure places. Moving is a stressful mess, and it’s not something fun, but these tips will help make moving more palatable, and something much more manageable for you.

How to Start a Subscription Box Company

With more and more people looking to pay more for an uninterrupted amount of the products that they want, it’s apt to say that subscription boxes are super popular, from mailer boxes that include fun products to even new ideas that are being tested for audiences. This is one that’s definitely growing, with three quarters of their brands being told to use this to sell to others. If you’re curious about how to get started, let’s go into the details of how subscription boxes work, and how to get started.

What are They?

These are boxes that customers can order, getting monthly supplies of items, including food, beauty products, fitness supplies, and even teas, candles, and coffee. For example, you can set up subscription boxes based on your brand. If you’re a fitness brand for example, you might include apparel, food, and even exercise tools to help meet the goals that you have. You can also create ones specifically for business professionals. For example, if your products are for teachers or doctors, your subscription box can reflect that by having that type of content inside of this. Now that you know the basics, here’s what you need to get started.

First: Money

Money makes the world go round and knowing how this business will be funded is the first step. If you’re going to offer products that are much more niche, it may cost more money to find the suppliers that’ll fit this.

If you’re going to expand the current subscription company resources that you have, you should look to see just how much you can dedicate to this.

Right now, the current average for subscription boxes in terms of investment is 10 grand, but that’s ultimately depending on the way you’d like to scale, what kinds of products you want to have on launch, and how you’d like to sell them. The shipping and packaging are ultimately quite consistent, so that’s much easier to predict compared to the other businesses too.

Time is Of the Essence

Time is the next consideration. You need to think about if you’ve got the time to set up subscription boxes that customers can buy. This is something that does require a bit of effort and time to set up. You also need to process the packaging supplies, m and the product supplies that are there, in order to ensure the proper supply of the boxes to send it to, especially when you place these orders.

Spaces and People

People are definitely going to play a huge part in this. You need people to help with this. There are also spaces to consider, and the place for this. Where are you going to package and ship out the products? What do you need to do to get started? Make sure that you have a space and the people set up, so you’re not being a one-man show trying to run everything.

Then, do market research

The next step is if you’re serious about this, and you have the capital, to look at what you should have for market research. What are people buying? You can cultivate your items to fit this. There are a lot of different ways you as a brand can use this.

Subscription boxes are a great way to build a brand, and if you already have a solid foundation, you can dedicate resources to this. With that said, make sure that you are prepared before you start, and make sure that you have the capital, along with the time to make this a reality.
